Little Girl Picks Up A Beautiful Rose But Gets The Surprise Of A Lifetime

If there's one thing I love, it's the beauty of nature. Whether it's fauna, flora, or something in between, I love all the many wonders of the great outdoors.

That's why I so enjoy coming across stories about wild animals and their many adventures — like the one about this poor, run-away sheep discovered after being un-sheared for five whole years.

But when I found out what one little girl discovered during an every-day trip to a garden? Well, I truly couldn't believe my eyes.

Perfectly nestled in the beautiful rose she picked was the most adorably curled-up surprise: a teeny-tiny lizard!

That's right. Somehow this very small reptile mistook her flower for a super cushy bed and decided he was going to having himself a little nap.

Our young heroine just wanted to give her mom a sweet gift,  so she must have been completely blown-away when she realized the present she actually shared was a wild animal, fast asleep!

It started out as a normal trip to their local garden. A little girl wanted to find the perfect pink rose to clip for her mom — and finally, she found one.

At first, it looked totally ordinary. But upon closer inspection, she realized this was a real "once-in-a-lifetime" moment.

Inside? A lizard-friend settled into the nooks and crannies of the flower!

"I don't think I'll ever see anything like this again!" the parents wrote on Imgur. Though both mother and daughter almost thought about taking the little guy home...

They decided to let him sleep instead. This tiny lizard just looked so peaceful!
