As a kid, my family would go all-out when it came to Halloween every year — and I don't think we were alone in our holiday spirit.
There are so many great DIY Halloween ideas that people have come up with, like decorating pumpkins with cool chalkboard paint. But my favorite part about the holiday usually involved seeing just how creative people were with decorating their houses.
So when I saw what one DIYer did to completely transform her house for Halloween, I was absolutely floored.
I spotted this incredible project on Imgur, where user ChristineHMcConnell created what is sure to be the spookiest house in the neighborhood. The end results are so good that they look professionally designed and made!
The Halloween-loving kid in me wishes I had a home decorated like this on my block growing up.

This year for Halloween, Christine was inspired to tackle an extremely ambitious DIY project: transforming her parents' house into a Monster House.
As the base for most of her decorations, Christine used foam-core boards.
She used the boards to cut out eyes and teeth for her giant DIY monster.
She decided to utilize 8 different eyes of several different sizes.
Her artistic work was spot-on in giving the eyes a terrifying appearance.
She was careful to keep her parents' floors completely covered to avoid getting paint everywhere.
She even used tinier paintbrushes to focus on some of the more minute details of the eyes and teeth.
She decorated the yard with cobwebs and pumpkins and mounted the painted foam cutouts on the outside of the house.
The results? A delightfully terrifying Monster House that is sure to attract its fair share of onlookers and trick-or-treaters.
Christine truly transformed a lovely home into the spookiest house in town with her brilliant artistic and DIY skills.
