Putting Scotch tape on your eyelid sounds a little crazy but this simple trick is going to save you a lot of time. This hack from SheFinds is great for makeup beginners or clumsy folks like me.
I can't tell you how many times I've had to completely redo my makeup because one eyeliner wing was up and the other one was down. Working with liquid or gel liner is plain messy. Unless you are a professional or blessed with a steady hand, doing your eyeliner every day can be a process.
With two pieces of Scotch tape, all of that can go away in an instant. Or, if you don't have any tape nearby, you can try this cool eyeliner spoon trick.
What You'll Need:
- Scotch tape
- Your favorite liquid or gel liner (We prefer Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner)
- Mirror
First, grab a small piece of Scotch tape. Stick and re-stick the tape on the top of your hand to remove some of the adhesive. Then, place the tape on a diagonal on the eyelid.
Next, repeat the previous steps, except this time place the piece of tape below the lower lash line in a diagonal. This should create a space shaped like a long scalene triangle.
Fill in the space with your eyeliner. Carefully remove the two pieces of tape. Marvel at your perfectly created winged eyeliner!
