Rare Lamborghini Miura Unearthed On ‘Chasing Classic Cars’

Even to the person the least enthusiastic about cars, there will always be a few recognizable makes, and even a few recognizable celebrity cars. James Dean's Porsche 550 Spyder has a tragic yet fascinating story around it that everyone knows about, and the DeLorean will perhaps always be known as the car that traveled to the future. But there are few carmakers that are quite as well known as the Lamborghini.

The carmaker has excelled in their innovations for luxury sports cars, and this becomes apparent when you look at the Italian maker's older models. Even back in the day, these beauties looked very fast, flashy, and modern.

When the show Chasing Classic Cars made a pit-stop in the Midwest in 2013, the show's host, Wayne Carini, was called to inspect a rare find in an old, dilapidated garage.

That find? A Lamborghini Miura!

The Miura was a luxury sports car produced between 1966 and 1973, and though it wasn't an extremely long-lived model, it was deemed the fastest car on the road at the time of its release. With its sleek, mid-engine design, the car made waves at auto shows.

But it's the interior of this car that's really striking. Wayne's right when he says it's a "time warp"!
