In recent years, alternative styles of home living have become increasingly popular in all corners of the world.
Many people opt to live in incredible tiny homes. Whether these homeowners have built the dwellings themselves, or have found them through online listings, these homes offer a different perspective on factors like comfort and convenience.
I personally love seeing tiny homes that are shaped a little oddly, or ones that have very unique interiors — like this tiny wagon home tucked away in the rural French mountains, for instance.
Below, we show you another gypsy wagon, but this one is built right here in the United States — in Idaho, to be precise. It boasts antique furniture and decorations, as well as one very special appliance that was used long ago…

Recently, Jim Toothman added a tiny home listing to the internet. Located in Hailey, ID, the 'gypsy' wagon measures approximately 105 square feet and has a most intriguing interior.
The first thing you'll see is the star-dotted staircase leading up to the front door. Designed by an anonymous master crafter, this tiny home gives beyond a rustic look — it transports you into a whole different universe.
The edge of the door is framed with gold sconces, and adorned with a tiny winged sculpture at the very top of the entrance.
Upon stepping inside the home, you'll find a space that is cozied up with deep-hued furniture and antiques. A grandfather clock hangs on the walls, and a white ceramic milk jug sits atop a stove. A painting of unicorns and heavenly bodies lines the wall like a tapestry.
The old iron stove is perhaps the most unique feature in the home. Even though the majority of homes today use sleeker, modern-looking stovetops, these cast-iron masterpieces add some Old World flair.
The bedroom area is just as fantastic. With its ruby-colored, velvety sheets, natural lighting, and convenient storage space, the bedroom adds to the home's quaint atmosphere.
There's even a lovely bench right next to the bed! It can also double as a chest to store personal items.
The exterior of the gypsy wagon is extremely well-designed and sturdy. There's even well-executed and very intricate detailing carved on the sides.
From the side, the tiny home transforms into a lovely traveling wagon dating back centuries. What an incredible design! We're very happy to have come across it.
We absolutely love tiny homes that exhibit a bit of extraordinary and quirky flair. We hope that you do, too!
