Bus Driver Is Called A Hero After Saving 10-Year-Old Girl

Mary Moseley was driving with her daughter, Kayla, near their South Carolina home, when suddenly the 10-year-old started having a seizure.

Watching as Kayla turned purple, Moseley became frantic. She started screaming for help because she didn't know how to assist her daughter.

"You're scared," Moseley told local news station WRDW News 12. "You don't know what to do."

Thankfully, a school bus driver, Youlanda Jones, happened to be driving by. She noticed something was wrong and immediately pulled the bus over.

Like the bus driver who saved a toddler roaming the streets and the one who saved dozens of students from a fire, Jones became a hero that day.

"I pulled up to the scene. I see a mom on the side of the car, the passenger's side, screaming, 'Help! My child's not breathing!'" Jones said. "I immediately told Mom to call for help and started to help her get air."

Jones, who previously worked as a nurse for 15 years, was the only reason the young girl survived that day. Knowing this, Moseley is forever grateful for the brave woman.

"We need more people like her in every single way," Moseley said while fighting back tears.
