The newest addition to the Star Wars franchise seems to have the whole world excited to see what our favorite intergalactic characters have in store for us. You can walk into practically any store at the moment and find aisles of merchandise promoting the upcoming film. The highly anticipated premiere is all anyone wants to talk about! And that apparently includes the folks we see every morning on our television sets.
At first, reporter Sian Welby appears to be giving an average update on what to expect from the weather throughout the United Kingdom. There isn't anything exciting to mention about the mild climate, but soon you notice something a bit different about the words she's using to describe the daily forecast.
The clever anchorwoman slips in no less than a dozen references to the legendary films with the help of some adorably silly puns. "If you Luke father west…" she begins, referencing the iconic Jedi, Luke Skywalker, and continues to warn residents of a storm brewing and encourages them to, "not be a trooper," and stay indoors. I think it's safe to say that Welby is definitely one of the many fans who have spent the past few months counting down the days until they finally get to sit in the theater and enjoy the new installment of the beloved series!
