In recent months, we've seen some truly incredible feats carried out by tiny home builders.
Already established as a global lifestyle phenomenon, tiny home living has inspired many adventurers and crafters to come up with their own designs.
Designer and entrepreneur Kristie Wolfe already had a few tiny home building projects successfully under her belt when she first conceived the idea of building a five-acre Hobbit village in the state of Washington.
Looking to provide customers with great comfort and tranquility, she designed a perfectly rustic space with a very surprising look.
Much like Green Magic Homes, the company that is building eco-friendly, Hobbit-inspired underground homes in the countryside, Kristie is hoping that her little community will give people a different, more peaceful outlook on life.

An entire community modeled after the Shire, the pastoral, serene area settled by Hobbits in the fictional masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings.
Built on five-and-a-half acres of land in Orondo, an unincorporated area in Douglas County, WA.
They are currently available for rent via hosting site Airbnb.
But unlike the fictional Shire, these mystical little apartments aren’t mucky and underground.
They aren’t “nasty, dirty, wet hole[s], filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell,” writes Kristie. “[It’s] a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.”
Each cottage measures 288 Sq Ft, and rests half-buried in a hillside.
Overlooking the Cascade Mountain Range, the homes are a fantastic retreat, a great place that offers tranquility and peace.
Covered in Tudor-style cedar shingles and enclosed by a round, typical Hobbit front door, each apartment features a large king-size bed, rustic living room, and bathroom.
There’s even a stone fireplace and a hand-carved wooden sink!
The village will finish its construction by midyear, and will allow guests to finally enjoy all the wonderful benefits of a peaceful country life.
