Sister Is Reunited With Late Brother’s Classic Car

Billy Jester's 1941 Buick was his most prized possession. When security cameras caught two men stealing the classic car, his family was devastated. While the incident went down, Billy was in the hospital breathing his last breaths. Billy died just a few days later. His sister, Maezel Brown, counted on having that car to remember her brother by, and she thought she would never see it again. It may seem silly, like it's just a material possession, but cars are often time capsules of memories. The car you drove off in on your wedding day, picked your daughter up from her first day of school, or drove cross-country in can be your only tie to the past.

Maezel decided to go on television and plea with her community, asking them if they knew anything about the car. To her surprise, the community came forward. The police received a few tips, and miraculously they tracked down the vehicle.

"Because of the television coverage, they were able to realize, 'Oh yeah, I saw them.' You can be a good citizen even though you might be afraid. You don't have to be afraid anymore. Just step up to the plate and do what you should do," she told KCTV's Brandon Richard.
