Beautiful And Creative Uses For Old Plastic Bags

Upcycling isn't just good for the environment, but it allows you to transform otherwise useless items into totally fresh DIY projects.

Whether you're following a tutorial or creating your own DIY process, there are endless ways to turn trash into treasure  like with this designer who transformed old plastic spoons into a gorgeously modern light fixture.

And when I discovered the myriad of creative ways that people have been able to turn old plastic bags into DIY masterpieces, I had to learn more.

If you're anything like me, your kitchen cabinet is filled to the brim with old plastic bags  in fact, mine seem to multiply overnight. Usually they collect dust, or I'm forced to throw them away. But a better (and more earth-friendly) plan is to upcycle them into crafty DIY projects.
