News Flash, People Talking About Adele’s ‘Glow Up’: She’s Always Been Gorgeous

Adele is one of the greatest singers of all time. She has about a hundred Grammy Awards (OK, maybe not that many) and she's constantly flooring us with her beautiful songs that no one else could sing quite like her. Hello, "Hello" and "Rolling in the Deep." She's an incredibly talented, hilarious, and drop-dead gorgeous mother and singer. We all know this to be true but when Adele shared a few recent snaps of her looking super beautiful on Instagram over the holidays, people were totally fixed on one thing and one thing only — her weight loss.

While Hollywood loves makeover stories, fans and publications alike were quick to obsess about Adele's transformation. It made headlines just about everywhere. People were calling it a "glow up" and complimenting her appearance to the extreme. But some people didn't love the fact that such a big deal was being made about the superstar's transformation because Adele is a lot more than a number on a scale. Also, weight loss doesn't always happen because someone is worried about their appearance. Sometimes, it's due to health reasons. Sometimes, it isn't even intentional.

Adele took to Instagram to share her beautiful photos on Christmas Eve. She wrote, "We both tried to ruin Christmas but then both our hearts grew! Thank you for coming to my party and making us feel like kids Grinch
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone x."

The post has been liked over 2 million times. But that very day, Adele started trending like crazy on Twitter. People were worried something had happened to her. She was all over the place, but Adele turned out to be just fine. People just couldn't stop talking about one thing.

Fans weren't the only ones chiming in about Adele's "glow up." Publications were quick to document her makeover. She made headlines just about everywhere for her stunning transformation, even though lots of folks commented on the fact that regardless of her weight, she's always been a beautiful superstar.

Publications like Mirror Celeb and The Daily Star talked about how glam she looked. “Adele shows off glam transformation after whopping three stone weight loss," The Daily Star wrote. Adele was rolling in the deep when it came to comments about her weight loss.

Some of the comments went a little far, though. In particular, one by a British journalist who called her "unrecognisable" and said it was "fabulous." Folks quickly chimed in to say that perhaps that wasn't exactly a compliment. Adele looked pretty good before she lost weight, too.

Adele hasn’t really commented publicly about her weight loss. So, while it's one thing to say "she looks great," it's another to assume that she made the change because she wasn't happy or didn't like the way she looked before. She simply posted a silly Christmas photo and then came an explosion of commentary about her body.

As outspoken as the singer is, though, chances are, we may hear from her soon. She doesn't really hold back when she has something to say. Perhaps she's waiting for all of the noise to die down a bit before she expresses how she feels about her weight loss or the reasons for the lost weight in the first place. Perhaps it didn't have anything to do with her appearance at all.

Regardless of what Adele looks like or how much she weighs, she's incredibly talented. We just want to hear more of her music. Hopefully, she's feeling good in her body but chances are, she already felt pretty good about herself. Why shouldn't she? She's an actual superstar. Maybe a little more focus on who she is as a person and less emphasis on her weight would be a very good thing indeed.
