Star DIY-er Tuula hated the plastic organizers that she'd been using to keep her "junk drawer" neat  everything just looked scattered and totally out of place.

So she came up with an absolutely brilliant solution. Our thrifty blogger started by grabbing a few different-size muffin tins and fitting them together in her drawer.

Next, she began filling in her muffin pan organizers with her various trinkets, keeping her most used items toward the front of the drawer.

Our DIY-er placed her favorite tiny items — like small drill bits and whistle-making parts — in the smaller pans, and reserved larger trinkets for the bigger cups.

In no time, her drawers were looking neat and organized!

But organizing her junk drawer was only the beginning. Tuula had big plans for these tiny wooden shoes!

Her first step was to nail picture frame hangers into the bottoms of her wooden clogs.

Using a couple of nails, she hung her funky shoes on the wall.

In no time at all, those clogs were ready to be filled with tons of extra desk supplies.
