Baby elephants are well known for their adorably inquisitive nature. Even if their moms are watching, a baby elephant will often try as hard as possible to go out in the world and explore!
While this interest in adventure usually doesn't result in any injuries, baby elephants have been found to fall into large holes every so often. Luckily, the mama elephant usually manages to pull the baby out, but sometimes a human hand is needed to save the baby elephant from the hole.
The video below shows just how trusting these little babies are. While some of the larger elephants might be a bit wary or even scared of humans for good reason, baby elephants are well known for their affinity to getting head and back scratches from their human friends.
The little baby in the video below is particularly fond of a tourist who is visiting a special elephant park intent on keeping these beautiful animals safe from evil poachers. This elephant sanctuary is filled with elephants being kept out of harm's way from the bad guys, but when this little baby elephant found a human to lay down on? You better believe he tried his best to act like a little puppy!
The only problem is that this little guy weighs quite a bit already. While this habit of rolling and laying down on his favorite humans is cute right now, they better hope he doesn't make a habit of it as he grows to be a full-size adult elephant!
Please SHARE this adorable video if you think poaching elephants should be stopped forever!
