Even though his mom is there, however, there are people all over the world who would want to hurt both of them! While there are a large amount of reasons that these awful people don't respect elephants, thankfully, there are even more people who love them and will protect them at all costs.

Even with his big mama just a few feet away, this man is pretty brave for playing with her little baby while lying on the ground. But when the big mama elephant saw how happy her baby was in the arms of a loving human? She knew in her heart that everything was finally going to be OK, and they were finally going to be safe.
