Camouflage is one of the most useful tricks that nature has devised. It helps both predators and prey evade notice, and it's been adapted by humans in military for centuries.
In fact, humans have done a lot of research to try and mimic the absolutely mind-bending camouflage tricks that can be found (or not found, as the case may be) in nature.
And then there are these people.
These people set out to have a totally normal day in totally normal clothing, only to find that they'd blindly stumbled into their own perfect disguises. The results are impressive, to be sure, and also totally hilarious.
Take a look at some of the unintentional camouflage that people all over the internet have encountered in everyday life.

Sometimes it can be embarrassing to realize that you're blending into the furniture.
But savvy shoppers know that any piece of furniture you bring home should really match you.
Camouflage is also great for when you want to travel in secret.
And that goes for both outside and inside transportation.
And when you get to the hotel, you might find yourself blending in there, too. If anyone asks, tell them it's a Kubrick homage.
Unexpected camouflage often steals people's feet.
And shoes.
And sometimes entire legs.
Of course, it's even more incredible when not one but two items of clothing match perfectly with your surroundings.
Some people actually train for this sort of thing.
And some people turn their surprise camouflage into even more camouflage.
And for others, the surprise is just delightful.
Some show promise at a young age for being masters of disguise.
This talent allows them to infiltrate areas unseen.

But you can always take a cue from Cindy and, when you find yourself unintentionally blending in, take advantage and sneak in a nap!
Sometimes, the matching makes sense. This is a great, bold pattern and a bright color. It stands to reason that more than one person would like it!
To be honest, though, we're not sure wearing this sweater anywhere is ever a good idea.
