Baboons at Knowsley Safari Park are known for mobbing visitors' vehicles, so they really went wild for a new Hyundai car when it was left to sit for more than ten hours. But don't worry, the car was purposely left for the primates to play with.
In an interesting experiment, the baboons were used to test the durability of the new car because designers wanted to discover how its new i30 hatchback would withstand hours of pulling, prodding and tearing at the car's parts. Well, more than 40 monkeys were let loose on the new car to see if it was child proof and remained under the watchful eyes of park staff for safety reasons. Sure looks like the animals had a great time, jumping up and down on the seats and climbing through the sliding glass roof.
