The late Robin Williams has always been a strong supporter of charitable organizations, including animals. As the world starts to process the loss of the legendary comedian, we all start to look back on the fond memories he shared in the public eye, including an unforgettable visit KoKo the gorilla.
Koko was born at San Francisco Zoo and lived in California before moving to an animal sanctuary in Hawaii in the 1990's. It was there the two shared a few funny, heartwarming, and gentle moments all of which he hilarious recalled during one of the actor's visits on The Ellen Show.
