Elvis Presley Sings The Gospel! His Amazing Performance Gives Me Goosebumps, WOW!

One of Elvis Presley's earliest musical influences was gospel and his love for the music dates back to when he was a toddler in Tupelo, Mississippi. It has been heavily circulated in the press for decades that even when Elvis was just a little boy he would dance and sing with the southern gospel choirs while attending service. So it should come as no surprise that the King Of Rock 'n Roll would begin to bring gospel music the masses throughout his career.

When performing live, the King would employ a series of gospel singers to perform backup with him on his tours. While it was not unusual for Elvis to go gospel on stage, this performance of "How Great Though Art" holds a whole new meaning since it was shot in 1972 for the documentary "Elvis On Tour." The documentary won a Golden Globe and it was third and final film starring Elvis before his death on August 16, 1977.

Sit back, relax and enjoy this amazing performance and remember a time when music was music!
