They Put A Camera In A Field For 24 Hours, And Sped Up The Footage. Look What They Did In Just *One* Day.

When it comes to communities coming together to help each other out, nobody beats the Amish. This barn raising takes place in La Rue, Ohio, and the footage is composed of 1600 still photographs taken by Scott Miller–a picture taken every 20 seconds–over the 10-hour barn raising.

The teamwork these men display enabling them to get such a massive job done without the use of modern technology is simply breathtaking. And to think… it takes most of us longer than this to put together a crib. After the barn raising, there was only one thing left to do… chow down and celebrate! Scroll through the gallery below and be sure to watch the entire time lapse at the end. You won't be disappointed!

This entire piece was raised and put in place in minutes... without power tools!

I would NOT want to be this guy!

It's impossible to not think of an ant farm when you watch how fast these men scurry around and work.

With the framing on one building almost finished, half the men move on to the next project.

Lunch Break! Hey, even these superhumans need to rest!

Ever heard the saying "Many hands make light work"? Yeah. These guys invented it.

And... done. Weekend project? No way. They only needed a day. Be sure to watch the time lapse below to really get a feel for how fast they work!
