When the video begins, we see some curious kids sitting around a circle. What are they looking at? It's a teeny tiny baby sea turtle, hatching from his egg! How exciting!
One by one, the kids offer up their choice of names for this newborn as he tirelessly works to join up with the world around him. Finally, they pick a winner: Taylor!
My absolute favorite part of the entire video, though, is at the very end — when everyone joins in for an adorable round of the Happy Birthday Song, just for little baby Taylor. How amazing is this moment?! These kids couldn't have handled this situation any better — they're gentle, curious and excited. And it doesn't hurt that Taylor is one cute little fella!
Oh, and by the way — that yucky red thing under Taylor is the yoke sack (what he used to feed on while in his shell). It's perfectly normal. Taylor is happy and healthy!
