This is a video for anyone who believes that professional football players are all tough guys. We now know there is at least one big softie in the NFL… and we LOVE him for it!
During a beautiful rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" at MetLife Stadium, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne was so moved by jazz trumpet player Chris Botti's performance, that he broke down in tears.
Our National Anthem has been known to make many folks emotional, but it's not very common that you see a professional athlete in such a humbled state. While many NFL players dance around and showboat, it's so wonderful to see a team player show his raw emotion and patriotism.
After the game, Wayne told ESPN, "I'm just blessed to be out there". What a guy!
