Being a young mother is one of the most difficult jobs in the world…and of course, one of the most rewarding.
In the following video,which Kimberly Henderson uploaded to YouTube, we catch a quick glimpse of what it is like to be the parent of a young child who just doesn't want to go to sleep. On a whim, Henderson started to record herself singing to her sweet 1-year-old Vaida.
She performs a beautiful cover of R&B British superstar Sam Smith's version of "How Will I Know" by Whitney Houston. Her voice is truly incredible, but it is what happens with her little one that makes this video so heartwarming.
Within seconds of her mother's riveting and emotional lullaby, baby Vaida puts her head on mommy's chest and begins to fade into a dream. This comes as no surprise to me, since this beautiful song completely relaxed me, too.
Someone needs to volunteer to babysit and get this mama into the recording studio ASAP!
