I love candles. I'm a girl, after all. But what I don't love about candles is when they burn unevenly, creating a waxy mess or burning the edge of the votive, or just looking generally unpretty. Lucky for me, this video is here to teach a stupidly simple trick using tin foil to create a more even candle burn. Yay!
The tin foil works by holding the heat around the edges of the glass, more evenly melting the wax around it. How cool!
Another tip, if there's too much wax? If you put the flame out and hold a tissue or kitchen paper into the liquid wax, it will suck out some of the wax and allow the flame to burn better.
