But how often do we find ourselves genuinely surprised by something we see? Many of us may have a belief that opossums are not exactly an ideal animal to have around the house. Personally, I always thought they were mean, and even dangerous. You always see videos of them scrambling around in the dark, or fighting back against another animal with their sharp teeth. In the video below, however, we learn that opossums are not only docile and gentle creatures, they're also pretty cute!
This sweet little guy clearly enjoys getting love and affection. First he gets a tasty treat (I can't believe he eats it all in one bite), and then enjoys a some love from Mom. Who knew that an opossum could be so adorable and gentle? You just want to jump through the screen and get your hands of the precious little critter!
