Next time you go to call someone a drama queen, I bet you're going to remember this genius short film from director Rogier Hesp.
I have to warn you that this video starts out pretty cryptic, but it ends with a surprise. Or as the director himself puts it on his website: "Rogier is in every story always looking for the edge, an edge that provokes but ends in a smile."
In the video, we see a mom getting pulled over by a police officer for speeding in the U.K. Her young daughter is very quiet in the back seat as Mom shuffles around in her purse, looking for her registration. This is when things get really strange. The friendly officer looks in the back seat and says to the child, "Hello! Mommy in a bit of a hurry, was she?"
All I can say about the little girl's response is that it's unforgettable. I don't want to give away the ending, so you need to see what happens for yourself. It's worth it!
It's no wonder why this less than one-minute short film has won many awards, such as the Young Director's Award, since its debut in 2010. Please SHARE if you enjoyed this clever story!
