There's no reason to be embarrassed about smelly shoes, it happens to the best of us! Whether they're work shoes or your favorite flats, chances are, eventually, they will start to smell. We can't always get around in a pair of flip flops, so for obvious and inevitable reasons, we end up with shoes that have a very distinct odor. There are plenty of deodorizers at the store, but I always tell myself I don't need them — until I really, really do!
Thankfully, there's a way to make a simple deodorizer that you can bring with you wherever you go. All you need is a 1/2-cup of cornstarch, a 1/4-cup of baking soda, a 1/4-cup of baking powder, and a few drops of your favorite essential oil.
Melissa Maker from the YouTube channel Clean My Space shows us how to combine the ingredients above in a Ziploc bag, making an incredibly convenient and inexpensive deodorizer! Super simple, super amazing, and no more stressing over the embarrassment of a pair of smelly shoes!
