She Was Ready To Jump Off A Bridge…But This Heroic Teen Saved Her Life. WOW!

A 17-year-old acted well beyond his years in order to save a stranger from committing suicide.

One night, as Michigan native Brennan Bardowski was driving over a local bridge at around 7:30 p.m., he noticed a pedestrian on his left taking off her shoes. Bardowski’s instincts told him to keep watching her.

He then saw her lift herself over the bridge’s rail. He quickly turned his car around and approached the woman, who was ready to jump.

“There will be a lot of people devastated if you do this,” he recalled telling her to WRIC. “I was like, ‘Why don’t you come on over?’ and I just kept comforting her like that.”

The teen changed her mind with his approach, which he said he learned from a video he saw in school at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish School.

“I just wanted to do the right thing,” said Bardowski, who will receive a life-saving award from the local police department. “Luckily it worked out.”
