This video comes all the way from Russia, so don't ask how or why the people in this video thought it was a good idea to get a pet monkey, dress it up in a little snow suit and have it hop around in the snow. Either way, it's a pretty terrifying video, and it serves as possible proof that gnomes do actually exist in the wild. At least this snowsuit-wearing simian wasn't found looking depressively sad and alone in an IKEA.
The way it hops is just wrong. It really looks as if it's some little evil spirit that would sneak up on you while you're struggling in the snow. Terrifying.
While a lot of people are accusing the Russian family of animal abuse, one can't be too sure. The monkey is dressed appropriately for the weather, and it doesn't appear to be in any distress — still, that question is a matter of the viewer's opinion.
