I cannot handle the cuteness. It’s simply too much cute! Cuddle Clones are stuffed animal replicas of your favorite pets.
You might be thinking, “Why would I want that when I can have the real thing?” Well, here’s a real life thing that happened to me the other day:
My grandpa alerted me that his beloved German shepherd, Jack — only a year-and-a-half-old — was having seizures. Purebreds are often plagued with ailments and, unfortunately, our Jack was no exception.
He asked me jokingly if I thought — if Jack needed to be put down — it was a good idea to have him stuffed…as in taxidermy stuffed. The thought was horrifying. Would that be the only way to sustain my cuddly friend’s legacy? To literally mummify him? I’d rather keep the memories and try to move on. Then I stumbled upon Cuddle Clones, a service that can keep your the likeness of your pet alive, perhaps even when he or she isn’t. After all, a soft, tangible reminder of your departed buddy is a comforting thing to have.
Not to mention, a lot of animals don’t actually like to cuddle (I’m looking at you, grumpy felines) — so it’d be nice to finally get some snuggle action with a reluctant pet!
Cuddle Clone Founder Jennifer Graham was laying with her beloved Great Dane, Rufus, when she thought having a replicated stuffed animal of him was a great idea.
Though Graham didn't follow through with her plan at first, a life-changing incident would be the catalyst for her to execute her idea.
In 2009, Rufus became ill and passed away on Thanksgiving Day.
The day Graham lost her beloved friend was the day Cuddle Clones was born.

Not only does Cuddle Clones provide a unique service, but portions of the funds go to animal charities and pet-related causes!
So how do you get a Cuddle Clone of your very own little nugget of love? It's going to cost you about $200. (But we think it's totally worth it!)
And don't worry, they don't only do dogs! Cats, horses, pigs, birds — any pet you love is welcome.
Each clone is made by a team of 13 in China's Guangdong province.
WOW — the next puppy and its clone are so similar, I almost can’t tell which one is real!
