I’ve Been Eating Oreo Cookies FOREVER, But I Never Tried This! Off To The Kitchen!

Nabisco's famous Oreo cookie has been delighting people both young and old for over a century now. Can you believe that? Since their introduction in 1912 (when they were originally called the "Oreo Biscuit"), the chocolate sandwich cookie has become an iconic American snack.

The Oreo's popularity should come as no surprise. They're both delicious and interactive. You can eat them whole or peel them apart to get at the cream filling. You can even dip them in milk if you like. It's a whole experience eating an Oreo. They've even become a huge trend lately by introducing a number of limited-edition flavors of the cookie, like Cotton Candy and Red Velvet.

So how could you possibly improve on this institution of a cookie treat? How can you make the Oreo even better than it already is? Impossible, right? Not so fast! Have you ever considered decorating your Oreo cookies with even more yummy treats around the sides? No? Well, hold onto your taste buds because they're about to be shocked into absolute bliss.

In the below video, uploaded by YouTuber Cookies Cupcakes and Cardio, you'll see how you can take a bag of "Double Stuf" Oreo cookies and take them to a whole new level. And all you need is a bag of your favorite flavor "Double Stuf" Oreos, some vanilla buttercream, and any type of decorative treat your little heart desires. Sprinkles, mini M&Ms, Jimmies, Colored Sugar… They all work great.

Follow along with the video so you can see how to pipe the buttercream around the Oreo cookie's sides, filling up the crack between the two cookies. Then you just roll the cookie in a bowl filled with whatever your addition is this time around (sprinkles, M&Ms, etc).

Smooth it out with your fingers and you're done! Now you have Oreo cookies with extra cream and another treat right along side it. How can you possibly go wrong? Not only do they look great, but just wait until you dig in!
