These Beautiful Abandoned Places Will Give You Chills. Would YOU Visit These Creepy Sites?

There's something about visiting an abandoned area: You get that tingling feeling, it's so quiet that it's loud, you just know that someone is watching your every movement. You feel the hairs on the back of your neck rise as a sharp chill rushes down your spine. You feel so out of place, like you don't belong!

These images show some of the most eerie-yet-oddly-beautiful places from around the world. Think how quiet some of these places would be, like the abandoned train track high up in the mountains of Taiwan, the air thick as you walk through the clouds.

Or whole cities, completely abandoned to be returned to the elements. Places where people lived and loved, raised families — all of those stories forgotten as the years go by.

Would you ever want to visit any of these places? Some of them are gorgeous, but I'm not sure if I could work up the bravery!
