The World’s Thinnest Home Was Built In A Polish Alleyway

Claustrophobic? Then you better turn away now, because this can never be unseen… We've seen tons of incredible tiny homes, but this one may take the cake for achieving livable space in something so frighteningly narrow.

In Poland's capital of Warsaw sits the world's thinnest home. Squeezed between two buildings in an alleyway, this staggering, triangle-shaped apartment is just three feet wide at its narrowest point. When it was finally finished and unveiled in 2012, people flocked to the home just to get a peak.

Originally designed as an art installation, Polish architect Jakub Szczesny says it has all the basics a tenant could need — like a micro-kitchen, teeny-tiny bathroom, a sleeping cubicle, and a tiny work area — all accessible via metal ladders. It's pretty amazing from a creative/design aspect, but could you actually imagine living there and being comfortable? You tell me. I'm still on the fence.

In the meantime, please SHARE this with all your friends while I work on my claustrophobia by watching the video below.
