Kanye West Returns To Los Angeles To Work On His Marriage And Reconnect With His Children

Kanye West has had a difficult few months, but he's trying to move forward. The 43-year-old rapper has been suspected to be going through a manic period in his struggles with bipolar disorder. At its worst, he made hurtful accusations and assertions about his wife and members of her family. Now he's trying to mend his family relationships.

Kanye has returned to Los Angeles after spending time in Wyoming, Chicago, and New York in recent months. There, he has reunited with wife Kim Kardashian and their four children — 7-year-old North, 4-year-old Saint, 2-year-old Chicago, and 14-month-old Psalm.

He may be back in LA, but he's still hard at work on his many projects. Just last week, he held his first Sunday Service since March. Kim and Kanye both assured fans that extensive safety measures were taken. In addition to that, he's still allegedly working on a presidential run. Then there's his first love, music. Kanye's been teasing an album for much of this summer. Fans are waiting to see if it will come to fruition.

Kanye West is getting back home to his family. The 43-year-old rapper has returned to Los Angeles after spending time traveling the country working on his musical and political pursuits. Now he's focusing on mending things in his marriage and spending quality time with his children.

A source close to the family says that Kanye missed spending time with all the kids, which led him to put his other pursuits on the back burner for a bit.

"He is still busy working on his music and presidential campaign, but really missed the kids and flew to see them," the source tells People magazine.

"They are all spending the weekend at their Hidden Hills house and catching up as a family."

The family has also gone away together. Over the weekend, Kim shared photos from a trip to Colorado along with Kourtney Kardashian and family friend Harry Hudson. The gang seemed to enjoy paddleboarding and being outdoors.

It's been a tough summer for Kim and Kanye. The couple's marriage has been reportedly strained due to Kanye's latest manic episode, which has been painfully public. The rapper has made some pretty disparaging comments about his wife, mother-in-law Kris Jenner, and sister-in-law Kylie Jenner.

Amid all of the things he's said, Kanye also launched a presidential bid. It won't come to pass in any significant manner at this stage of the game, but it's been a serious focus during this allegedly manic period. Kim is not on board with his pursuit of office, at least not now.

"Kanye has made it clear that he will continue to run for president. Kim is not happy about it, but this isn't her focus," a source told People.

"She just wants to do what's best for the kids. And she thinks finding a way to save her marriage is what's best for them."

Kim is seriously concerned about Kanye's mental health. She wants him to take time to focus on doing what's best for himself. He seems to believe he's doing just that, which has reportedly "exhausted" her.

"Between the kids, work, and dealing with Kanye's bipolar episodes, it's been hard for her to think clearly," the source noted.

Prior to their family trip to Colorado, which was reportedly designed to give them time to work on the marriage, Kim was at the end of her rope. She was not happy about the many personal details divulged about their family during the time that Kanye went on a Twitter frenzy. She was reportedly "ready to end the marriage."

Kanye understands that Kim has considered walking away and appears to be trying to make things work.

"But Kanye has been listening to her concerns," the source said.

"He has made some promises to her. Kim still sees divorce as a last resort. She is not there yet."

Publicly, Kim has caught a lot of flack for not stopping Kanye's very public episode, but there's more to it than many people understand.

"Kim wants him to get proper help, and Kanye still doesn't want to. Kim is just taking things day by day right now."
