This tree isn't going down without a fight!
When Paul Firbas' friend decided to cut up a fallen tree in his backyard, he had no idea that it would put up such a struggle. After all, normally when a tree falls down, it stays down. But as the man cut off another part of the trunk, something amazing happened. Is it some kind of ancient tree magic? Is this man a sorcerer? Or is it just plain old gravity at work?
I've seen other people do amazing things with just a dead tree and a chainsaw before. For example, this guy creates incredible works of art with the clunky machine. But I've never seen a tree rebel against the person who was chopping it up. It's almost like it was saying, "NOW what are you gonna do, tough guy?" I haven't been this surprised by a simple tree since I saw what was hiding inside this one's trunk.
While there's a big part of me that wants to believe that this tree is actually magical and enjoys playing practical jokes on people, the disappointing truth is that the dirt around its roots made it so heavy around the bottom that it was pulled back into place. No matter what the cause, I'm sure this is a phenomenon that these two guys won't soon forget!
