Blac Chyna Shades Rob Kardashian Over Not Paying Child Support, But It’s Not What It Looks Like

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna had a rollercoaster relationship. They made it out the other end with a beautiful daughter, 3-year-old Dream Kardashian. That said, there aren't many other ties between the two.

Rob and Chyna have said a lot of things about each other over the years. There have been accusations of bad parenting on both sides. The truth is only theirs to know. That doesn't stop either of them, primarily Chyna, from speaking out about their coparenting arrangement.

Recently, Chyna appeared on SiriusXM’s Hip Hop Nation. There, she was asked what her biggest flex was. She revealed that she takes care of her two children as a single mom with no child support from their fathers. Along with Dream, Chyna also shares her 7-year-old son, King Cairo, with rapper Tyga.

A lot of people heard the comment and read it as a dig at Rob and Tyga. The truth isn't what it seems, however.

Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna have had a bumpy ride through their time together. The two had a rollercoaster relationship that culminated with the birth of their daughter, Dream Kardashian. The two are no longer together, and their coparenting journey has had its fair share of ups and downs.

At its ugliest, there have been accusations of abuse and neglect from both parties. Just this year, Rob filed for emergency full custody of Dream after claiming she was exhibiting concerning behavior she attributed to Chyna. His request was denied.

A month later, Chyna claimed that Dream received two severe burns during her time at Rob's due to a negligent nanny. Rob fired the nanny and reasserted his various issues with Chyna's parenting, including alleged substance abuse and negligence.

Things between the two have been pretty quiet since that issue is resolved. Dream has spent time with both of them in recent months.

However, fans thought Chyna made a jab at Rob in some comments made during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Hip Hop Nation.

Chyna was asked what her biggest flex (which is like a humble brag for those who aren't familiar) was on the show.

"My biggest flex… I mean, just honestly taking care of my kids by myself as a single parent, but no child support," she said.

"So that's my biggest flex. I don't get no child support. That's my biggest flex."

Along with Dream, Chyna is mom to 7-year-old King Cairo. By her assertion, neither his father, Tyga, nor Rob gives her any child support.

This isn't the first time Chyna has made that claim, either. In an Instagram Live in February 2019, she went on a rant about both of her children's fathers, as well as her own mother, Tokyo Toni.

"I never asked Tyga for child support, Rob for child support, whatever, and then we just went to court," she said after saying she didn't need money from any of these people.

Chyna also claimed she was a "self-made multimillionaire."

"I try to squash [expletive], which I did, but none of that comes out. It's only negative [expletive] with Chyna… I never wanted no money from Rob because it was never about that. Period."

"This is not a sob story, this is a [expletive] winning story. I came from the strip club, my momma was a stripper, my daddy, I didn't know him," she continued.

"I have two kids by two guys that [expletive] tricked me or whatever and don't give me [expletive]. No child support, and I'm sick of that [expletive]. Cut that child support [expletive] out. Just cut it out. Period."

The arrangement between Tyga and Chyna regarding King is unclear. However, Rob and Chyna's custody arrangement has been in place since last year, and she's made no moves to change it.

Previously, Rob paid Chyna $20,000 a month in child support. When he could no longer afford the payments, the two were told to reach an agreement.

"It has been an extraordinarily difficult time for me emotionally, and I have no desire to continue participating in the reality show," Rob said according to court documents. The documents also claimed that Chyna made more money than Rob, although he had no desire to ask her for child support.

"I would like to maintain my privacy, try to recover from the emotional damage of the past several months, and explore other business ventures."

Those circumstances seem to be changing, however. Rob is making a return to Keeping Up With the Kardashians for at least part of the end of its run.

"Rob is doing so well. Khloé is his biggest supporter. She always encourages him to work on himself so he can find more happiness," a source told People.

"She couldn't be more excited that he is comfortable and confident enough to film the show again."

"Khloé thinks filming will make Rob stick with his healthier routine. And Rob seems very excited, too," they continued.

"He's ready to be back in the spotlight and he actually seems to look forward to being on the show again."

Khloé also spoke to People about her bond with Rob and how he's thriving.

"Rob is truly my best friend," she said.

"I love, love, love, him. He's always around. People think we don't see him, but just because the public doesn't see him, doesn't mean we don't see him."

When Rob allowed her to share some pictures he was in from her birthday party, she was elated.

"He said, 'Oh, you can post that. I'm fine, I feel good,'" she said.

"It made us feel so good that he was comfortable. And the reaction from the public was so positive that it gave him a boost of confidence."

"So now he is filming more. We're filming more within our homes, and he is right there with us. I'm excited for everyone to see that. He's such a good person and I'm just happy he's coming back around on camera a little bit more."

Rob has rarely appeared on the show since his own spinoff with Chyna went off the air. Chyna thinks that Rob's return will be good for him, according to TooFab.

"I think it's a positive thing," she said.

"Yeah, it's dope."
