Growing up in a military family, I've always known that I absolutely do not have what it takes to serve, no matter what the branch. The sacrifice, dedication, and discipline required takes a very special person, and that person is not me.
And, judging by this video, it looks like I was absolutely correct… If faced with this challenge, I know I'd melt faster than a Peep in the microwave!
"To be a Ceremonial Guardsman in the United States Air Force you have to maintain bearing at all times," states the video's description. "Even if you have a rubber chicken in front of your face."
That's right. A rubber chicken.
The description continues, "The instructors at the USAF Honor Guard Tech School constantly challenge the new-coming Airmen's bearing, and the students pay the penalty if they cannot maintain it."
But judging by the instructor's laughter, this challenge looks to be all in good fun. Even the toughest military men need a laugh once in a while!
Some of these reactions are absolutely priceless. While some are able to maintain a straight face, some can't help but lose it. It's heartwarming to see our military men enjoy a good laugh.
