He Rode By On His Bike, But Now Watch The Lonely Dog Behind Him… WHOA!

We all like to think that we're the ones training our dogs, but as this playful pup proves, sometimes they're the ones who train us! This pooch is a guard dog at M&R Decorators' Supplies in Cardiff, U.K., but it appears that he has his mind more on play than work. Unfortunately for him, playing fetch requires two participants…and alas, he is but one dog. But this smart pup has a plan to fix that…and it's completely genius!

Since this dog isn't as lucky as these guys that have a crafty machine to drops dozens of tennis balls for them, he had to think of a way to get someone else to throw his favorite ball. Thus he came up with a brilliant plan: He slides the ball under his fence and then waits for a pedestrian to walk by. Then, he stares at the ball excitedly to get their attention. It doesn't work on everyone, but he manages to "train" quite a few people to be his own personal ball-throwers! Maybe he's the one who taught this clever dog the same trick!

I sure wish I lived near this dog. I'd stand there and play with him all day! But for now, it looks like he's perfectly content waiting on the kindness of strangers. In fact, people are now traveling from other cities just to throw the ball to "Mr. Dog." He's become such a celebrity that he even got a starring role in his own short film! And don't worry; the creator of the film has said that Mr. Dog's owners love him dearly and that they take excellent care of him and do in fact give him plenty of playtime. If you're ever in the U.K., you might want to take a trip and spend a little while playing fetch with this outgoing pup.
