Hilary Duff is growing her little family, yet again!
Hilary shared a video with her husband, Matthew Koma, to make an exciting announcement. The 33-year-old actress is pregnant with her third child.
Hilary and Matthew share a 2-year-old daughter, Banks Violet Bair. Hilary is also mom to 8-year-old Luca, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
The news came the same weekend as Banks' second birthday. Hilary's a hardworking mama with a lot going on. The love radiates out of their little family, however. It's easy to see this new addition is going to be so, so loved.
Aside from acting, Hilary's also been channeling her experiences as a mom into Happy Little Camper. She's the chief brand officer for the safe, sustainable affordable diaper baby care brand. It's a sister brand to feminine care company Veeda, of which Hilary is also CBO. Hilary has opened up about what she's learned from her first child to her second. With a third on the way, it will be lovely seeing how she continues to grow.
Hilary Duff's life is truly what dreams are made of. The Lizzie McGuire alum turned busy business mama is happily married to her husband, Matthew Koma. She's mom to two beautiful kids, 8-year-old Luca and 2-year-old Banks.
Now Hilary and Matthew's family is growing yet again. The couple shared a video on Instagram revealing Hilary's third pregnancy.
"We are growing!!! Mostly me …" she captioned the boomerang of Matthew rubbing her belly.
Well-wishes poured in for the soon-to-be family of five. Mandy Moore, who recently announced she's expecting, was one of the first to comment.
"Yay!! The best news!!! Love you two and can't wait to be mamas together! Xo," she wrote.
The news came the same weekend as another special milestone for the family. This weekend, they celebrated Banks Violet Bair's second birthday.
"My love, my sweet sweet angel girl. Thank you!!! Two amazing years with your smile and your bright eyes(swoon)," she wrote.
"It seems you yelled at me, your dad, and bro for most of this time although no one would believe that with all the happiness that pours from you when you smile! Now … you are curious, at ease, confidant and brave. I love you so so so many times and again. Thanks for choosing us! Daddy has all the poetic words … check his feed in a few years for the good stuff. ♥️♥️♥️HAPPY 2 boo boo."
Hilary and Matthew will celebrate their first wedding anniversary this December. The couple is so adorably happy together. They regularly gush about each other, and recently, Matthew got Hilary's name tattooed on his butt.
Hilary is also busy being a mom boss in a big way. She's the chief brand officer of Naturalena, the parent company for Happy Little Camper and Veeda.
Veeda provides safe, sustainable, affordable feminine care products.
"There's a stigma around talking about your period and buying products — in the aisle, you just grab it quick and throw it in your cart. Now I feel like I have such a responsibility [to change that] because I realize how stupid it is for girls to feel embarrassed about something that's completely natural and that creates life. Especially now that I have a daughter, I just feel a big responsibility," Hilary told InStyle.
Hilary is stopping the stigma around periods at home by educating 8-year-old Luca, she recently revealed.
"I think the conversation starts with the whole family. Luca … knows what a period is already, he knows what a tampon looks like and what I have to do and he knows all that comes along with your period — that a woman has a period because women can create life and it's not something to joke about or be grossed out by," she said.
"I think it's important to not just share this information with girls. It's important that young boys, you know, turning into guys, are really well educated on it as well."
Then there is Happy Little Camper, which is what started Hilary's relationship with Naturalena. She found the brand when looking for diapers for Banks, and she went from unofficial brand ambassador to a member of the team. It was a decision that added a whole new chapter to Hilary's career.
Hilary has managed to juggle it all during this strange year. As she revealed to Cosmopolitan, it isn't always easy.
"Honestly, most days are good. I've had like three really hard days where I feel really low and I feel so burnt and so tired of my kids, you know? Kids are annoying, I'm not going to lie," she said.
"When I get in bed every single night and we're like, 'Oh my god, do we hate our kids or what?'" she joked.
"And then we wake up and the next day's a new day and we're like, 'We're so [expletive] grateful for our kids.' They're funny and they make us laugh and they also frustrate the [expletive] out of us."
