Chrissy Teigen Shares Beautiful Tattoo She Got In Honor Of Jack As She Begins Stepping Out Again

Chrissy Teigen is slowly returning to everyday life after suffering a terrible loss.

A month ago, Chrissy shared the heartbreaking news that she and husband John Legend experienced pregnancy loss. Chrissy delivered their baby boy, Jack, at 20 weeks.

Chrissy took most of the month of October to mourn and heal with her family. Her return to the public came in a heartfelt letter to fans detailing what she'd been through and her gratitude for those who had thought of and prayed for her family.

On Halloween, Chrissy shared pictures from an evening out. In the photos, you could see a new addition on Chrissy's arm. Last year, Chrissy and John got matching tattoos. The scrawling script spells the name of each spouse, then daughter Luna and son Miles. Now below that tattoo, the name "jack" is written across her wrist.

Chrissy and John have been keeping Luna and Miles close during this time. On Monday, ahead of Election Day, John performed in Philadelphia and brought his wife and kids onstage for an emotional performance.

Chrissy Teigen is beginning to return to public life after suffering a tremendous loss. The 34-year-old model and husband John Legend shared in early October that they'd lost their third child. Chrissy had announced her pregnancy about a month earlier.

Last week, Chrissy broke her silence with a heartfelt letter to her fans. She opened up about what she experienced, how it felt, and how grateful she was for the outpouring of love and support her family had received. Despite being through such a devastating ordeal, Chrissy emanated sincere gratitude.

"I wrote this because I knew for me I needed to say something before I could move on from this and return back to life, so I truly thank you for allowing me to do so," she wrote.

"Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see. Thank you so much to every single person who has had us in their thoughts or gone as far as to send us your love and stories. We are so incredibly lucky."

On Halloween, Chrissy shared a few photos from a night out. She looked awesome in a beautiful, black feathery dress. In a later photo, she shared a shot of her and John holding hands. Her upturned wrist revealed she'd tattooed Jack's name across it.

The new tattoo is just below the tattoo she got in honor of the family in October 2019. Chrissy and John each got a scrawling script that read the other's name, followed by Luna's and Miles' names.

The next day, John revealed that he also had Jack's name tattooed on his wrist.

On Monday, Chrissy made her first public appearance since the loss. She joined John at a drive-in campaign rally in Philadelphia for the Biden-Harris ticket. John performed "Wake Up Everybody" by Philadelphia group Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes.

After the song, John asked Chrissy and the kids to join him onstage.

"I want to send a shout-out — actually, can you come onstage, baby?" he asked.

"I want you guys to see, my wife is here. My daughter, Luna, is here. My son, Miles, is here. We're teaching our young people early to participate in their democracy."

Chrissy wore a white blazer and a flowing white skirt as she gave her husband a kiss. Then she turned to greet the audience.

"Hi," she said. "Hi, everyone."

"I want to do a special song that I dedicated to my wife a little while ago," John said.

"I wrote this song as a tribute to our relationship and the fact that love can get us through all kinds of tough times. We know that the whole nation is going through tough times right now. … This song is called 'Never Break.'"

Chrissy and John's story has touched so many people. The two have clearly leaned on each other through the best and worst of times and have come out of it all stronger than ever. It's inspirational to see a couple that's truly committed to riding out good times and bad as a team.
