Many moms probably feel that the majority of their advice to their daughters goes in one ear and out the other. But moms everywhere should be delighted to know that, even if your daughter doesn't seem to be listening, she is holding on to everything you say, and most likely, your advice will stick with her throughout the rest of her life.
In a very special Mother's Day edition video, Glamour asked women of all different ages to share something very important that each of their mothers has given to them…some incredible words of advice.
Because the women continue to pass down the words of advice they have learned from their mothers (one of which was born in 1896!), this video carries knowledge from over 100 years of experience.
Each woman takes a turn sharing some of their favorite words of wisdom given to them by their mothers, ranging from advice on boys and relationships, to living life to the fullest and always following their dreams, a piece of advice that Robert Green took to heart and used to make his mother proud, when he called her to let her know that he was going on tour with Taylor Swift!
I'm sure that each of these women's mothers would also be extremely proud to know that their daughters took their advice and are continuing to pass it along today!
