They Start Singing A Classic Song A Cappella. Then Halfway Through? AMAZING

What do you think of when you hear "barbershop quartet?"

Whenever I hear those words, I'm instantly taken back to days long before MTV, when four men would join together to make real music, without all the bells and whistles. Sometimes, I'll even think of Jimmy Fallon, who joined up with Billy Joel and an iPad to form their own group…but four teenage girls? Not so much…

However, that's exactly what makes the ladies of GQ, aka "Girls Quartet," so unbelievably amazing. When these young women first got started back in 2011, they were interested in a cappella singing, but they knew there was something extra special about each one of them.

The young women — Katie Gillis, Katie McDonald, Amanda McNutt, and Ali Hauger — decided to do something a little different than other singing students. Instead of having a wide range of voices, like this Disney-singing group of guys does, they'd form their own all-female quartet. Since then, they've won National competitions right and left…and for good reason! I can't remember ever seeing such a talented group of young women do a cappella since the movie Pitch Perfect.

I absolutely love how this group of talented young women completely showed up the guys, don't you?!
