27-Year-Old Bonnie Raitt Sings A Spine-Tingling Cover Of “Angel From Montgomery”

They just don't make music like they used to and this next video is the very best proof!

I don't know about you, but when it comes to music, I'm constantly finding myself going back to the same "oldies" I've known and loved forever. Although there are some truly talented and promising young singers out there today, such as this year's winner of The Voice, there's really nothing like the songs that I grew up listening to.

Who tops the list? By now you may have noticed that we here at LittleThings are big fans of Elvis Presley, who's given us some of the most memorable performances of all time. Elvis may be the King of Rock and Roll, but when it comes to singing the blues, there's only one queen — Bonnie Raitt.

It's been a while since I've heard the following classic by Raitt, "Angel From Montgomery," so it was such a pleasant surprise when it came my way. The song, which was penned by Country and Blues singer John Prine back in 1971, is just as touching as when I first heard it so many years ago. It's a little different from some of her hits like my personal favorite "Something To Talk About," but I guarantee it will put you in a good mood.
