Time and time again we have seen the power of the Internet work its magic in order to help animals that have either been abandoned, suffer from special needs or are looking to be adopted find a loving home. In this case, a very remarkable kitten named Bebe suffering from Manx Syndrome was able to find his forever home thanks to the internet!
When Cats at the Studio rescued Bebe from a previous shelter, he had what appeared to be an injured tail. When accessing him further though, it was discovered that he had a spinal defect known as Manx syndrome where he was missing two vertebrae causing him to have no control over his bowels. Even though Bebe’s condition requires him to wear diapers, he is just like any other playful kitten looking for a loving family.
Set out by determination, Cats at the Studio made it their mission to help find Bebe his forever home. Prior to this video, The Pet Collective first uploaded a clip about Bebe to educate those around the world about Manx syndrome. What they didn’t expect, however, was the amount of loving feedback from those with genuine interest in adopting Bebe. People around the world were noticing that Bebe’s condition did not reflect his personality, and that he was truly special in every way!
After receiving loads of positive feedback and having those interested in adopting him go through intensive screening, Bebe was well on his way to meeting his new family!
A very lucky woman from Arizona (who has had previous experience taking care of cats with Manx syndrome) set out on the road to meet Bebe for the first time and take him into her loving arms. In the brief moment of these two meeting, you can definitely tell it was love at first site!
This story absolutely warms my heart!
