Bing Crosby, Ray Bolger, And Marvin Hamlisch Perform On ‘The Tonight Show’

In March of 1976, Johnny Carson hosted an episode of The Tonight Show that will forever be remembered as having the most incredible guest line up of all time.

Bing Crosby, Ray Bolger, and Marvin Hamlisch were all there to promote their upcoming TV movie version of The Entertainer, starring the beloved Jack Lemmon dancing alongside Bolger.

Bolger is perhaps best known for his incredible talents in The Wizard of Oz as everyone's favorite Scarecrow. While just seeing him perform onstage would be incredible to behold, but to watch him perform alongside the legendary Bing Crosby is a moment that no one will soon forget!

After this amazing performance of the song "The Only Way To Go" is finished, just take a look at Carson's face. You can tell he is utterly awestruck at the talent emanating from this great generation of entertainers. These "song and dance" men from yesteryear had all been raised on the vaudevillian acts of the early 20th century, and to see this great performance is a real treat for anyone who respects and remembers our their great talents!
