Philadelphia Woman Was Shocked When She Saw This Police Officer’s Good Deed

One woman was moved to tears when she spotted a Philadelphia police officer lending a helping hand to two siblings struggling to carry laundry bags.

Bernice Daniels was in her car when she saw the good deed and told her 9-year-old daughter, Bree, to record it on her cell phone. She then posted the video on Facebook and it quickly started getting a lot of attention, receiving over 200,000 views.

“The officer had a wonderful heart and helped these kids out,” she wrote as the caption. “This brought tears to my eyes.”

Like the state trooper who helped a lost elderly woman on a busy highway and the officers who played some basketball with teens in New York City, the one below is also fighting a negative stereotype.

“All cops are not mean and nasty,” Daniels says in the video. “That was so nice.”

The officer in the clip, Sammy Brinson, is seen putting the children’s clothes into the trunk of his car and then dropping them off at the laundromat.

Some commenters were just as touched as Daniels was, including one who wrote, “It's not every day that we get to see videos like this and it made my day watching it.”
