Jill Duggar Gets Comfortable On YouTube And Reveals She Has A ‘Good Sex Life’ With Derick

Jill Duggar has come a long way from the life she led as one of the 19 Duggar children. She's no longer as conservative as the family she was raised in, and she's not afraid to show it.

Jill and husband Derick Dillard recently shared a video to their YouTube channel of when they went on a date night. Their two sons, 5-year-old Israel and 3-year-old Samuel, were in the backseat. When the conversation turned to where babies come from, the parents made some coy jokes about sex.

It's not the only sex talk coming from the couple. Just a few months ago, Derick discussed sex as one of the reasons why the Duggars marry so young.

Jill Duggar is best known for the many years she spent in the spotlight as part of the Duggar family. The show 19 Kids and Counting was one of TLC's biggest hits before its cancellation in 2015. Jill moved on to the show's spinoff, Counting On. She's since left the show, finding her married adult life a departure from the values she grew up with and leading to tension with her family.

Jill has embraced her new life. That means saying goodbye to the old rules. After moving on from the family business, Jill made headlines for cutting her hair, getting her nose pierced, and wearing pants.

"For me growing up, I always wore a skirt or a dress or whatever, but that was something that like as we were growing as a couple and kind of like, like the Bible says 'leave and cleave,' and kind of reevaluating things too, it definitely was not like a reactionary thing," she shared of the decision.

"It was very much something that we were just reevaluating and for me, I felt like I could be modest and wear pants."

Jill has also caught flak for drinking after she had an alcoholic piña colada. "In our faith, we believe like we're not supposed to get drunk," she noted.

"So, with drinking, it's not like we're just like going crazy. It's more socially here and there, or at home, for a date or something. Our kids are pretty young right now, but I think it's good for them to see a healthy balance."

The occasional criticism hasn't stopped Jill and Derick from doing what feels right to them in accordance with their faith and their family. They're definitely more casual than what people knew them to be, which is why people were surprised to see Derick reply to a social media comment with something a bit risqué.

In November, Jill's younger brother, Justin Duggar, got engaged to Claire Spivey. In a comment about the post on the engagement, someone asked why the Duggar kids insist on marrying so young. Justin and Claire are 18 and 19, which isn't typical in today's day and age.

"Because we want to have sex," Derick replied.

A fan replied that it was the "BEST RESPONSE EVER." Jill got a kick out of this and added, "@derickdillard and you're more popular than me babe ."

Then, in another comment, she quietly agreed with her husband with a simple " ."

In a recent YouTube video, the couple were coyly talking sex yet again. They were on a car date with their two kids, Israel and Samuel, in tow. They drove to different places they like to eat and drink. At one point, Derick asked the boys, "Do you know how you got born?"

"We had a date and then you started growing inside of mommy's tummy," Derick explained.

Jill was amused by her husband's use of "date" and added, "We had a bunch of dates."

"We did have four dates in one day I think … that one time," Derick added.

Jill then cut him off, telling Derick to "chill a little bit."

Then she whispered into the camera, "We have a good sex life."

Though Jill and Derick have been married since June 2014, people were still a little shocked by how far they pushed the envelope.

The video was sponsored by Intimately Us, an app that hopes to spice up marriages. They recommend couples use the app to keep things "fun and sexy." Jill shared it's one of her and Derick's favorites.
