“Drunk Knight” Guardian Angel Helps A Man Passed Out Behind The Wheel

If there's any type of criminal who really, really makes me angry, it's drunk drivers.

Not only do people like this completely insane woman put their own lives at risk, but they put every other driver on the road in life-threatening danger every time they choose to take the risk. To me, there is no excuse to ever get behind the wheel if you have been drinking, but unfortunately many people have to learn about this the hard way.

When you really think about it, getting arrested for driving under the influence is a true blessing in disguise for many people like this man who used the traumatic incident to change his life around. However, as we can see in the following photos, there are some good Samaritans out there who would rather help a drunk driver than see them hauled off to jail or learn about an accident later.

Reddit user Krazy_Legs posted the following photos along with this note: "I found this guy passed out drunk with his car running outside of a bar at 3:00 am. The bars close at midnight where I am, so I tried to wake him up, but he just kept mumbling and continued to sleep. I decided to hide his keys in the backseat, just in case a cop came, and left him a note and some water. I realized once I was sober that a cop would probably just read the note and arrest him anyway, but at least I tried."

Instead of calling the police, the redditor, who also had some drinks in the bar near his apartment, decided not to call the cops, but leave the drunk driver a note and a water bottle instead.

In the note, the man wrote that he hid the drunk person's keys in his back seat, hoping he would wake up the next morning and realize he got a second chance.
