Josh Duggar is currently living with family friends Lacount and Maria Reber on order of the judge in his ongoing child pornography case. Duggar was released on bail on May 6 but is not allowed to return to the home he shares with his wife, Anna, and their children.
Katie Joy, a celebrity gossip who runs the YouTube channel Without a Crystal Ball, recently dropped a bombshell: It appears that Anna Duggar has been leaving her own home at night to spend nights with her husband.
Back in May, probation officer Diem Nguyen explained why the Rebers were appointed as Duggar's third-party custodians:
"She and her husband felt that they should help Mr. Duggar’s parents and Mr. Duggar."
The officer continued, "I believe that … based on Mr. Reber’s job occupation, the fact that he’s a pastor and volunteers [at] Gentle Ministries, I believe that they could be suitable third-party custodians. However, the minors that come to the home causes the Probation Office some concern, as well as the pistols that won’t be locked away in a safe and or removed from the home also causes the Probation Office concern."
Maria Reber explained to the court that she and her husband want to help their friend:
"We want to be able to help … with God’s help. I am looking at it as we are here of help for the family … to Josh and Anna, and we want to administer to them as best as we can. … My husband has made the decision and I’m here to support that decision."
Maria Rebers continued: "My husband has a passion and love for ministry, and as a family, we have always ministered to others. Maybe not in this capacity, but as we go through life, you just never know what God puts in front of you in such a time as this."
If Anna is in fact sneaking over to the Rebers to see her husband, it's not clear if this violates any part of the court order. Anna, who is currently pregnant, has six children under the age of 11. The family lives in a warehouse on property that Josh Duggar's parents own.
While it's difficult for many to wrap their heads around it, Anna is reportedly dead set on sticking by her husband no matter what. A friend of the family said earlier this year that divorce is not even on the table:
"Divorce is never going to be a first option [for Anna]. It's going to be a last, last resort."
