Hoda Kotb is enjoying Easter with her family. It's the first holiday that Hoda is celebrating since her public split with Joel Schiffman.
By the looks of things, the day was still very special.
Hoda shared a bunch of pictures on her Instagram to mark the day. The photos included her mother, Sameha Kotb, whose birthday the family also celebrated on the same day.
Hoda's two daughters — Haley, 5, and Hope, 3, whom she shares with her ex — were all smiles in the sweet pictures.
The family is all snuggled up together in the images. "Happy Birthday Mom!!! Happy Easter ❤️," the 57-year-old Today host wrote in the caption.
Everyone definitely looks happy to be together, but one person was notably missing from the occasion. It doesn't appear that Hoda's ex, Joel, was there. It seems this is their first holiday celebrating separately since their split.
Hoda announced the couple's decision to go their separate ways back in January. On Today With Hoda & Jenna, she revealed that, after getting engaged in November 2019, they wouldn't be going through with their wedding plans.
The announcement definitely surprised viewers. Still, Hoda maintained that they would be dedicated co-parents. She said they would be "loving parents to our adorable, delightful children."
Hoda also spoke lovingly about her ex at the time of the announcement, saying that he's a "kind and loving person." She also shared that she felt like their relationship simply ran its course. "It's not like something happened," she said. "They say sometimes relationships are meant to be there for a reason, or a season, or for a lifetime. And I feel like ours was meant to be there for a season."
