Kris Jenner Reveals The Emotional Reason Travis Barker Visited Robert Kardashian’s Grave

The Kardashians has given us a lot of interesting peeks at the family's life, certainly in ways their former series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians never did.

Fans are loving getting to see more about Kourtney, especially in this thrilling stage of her life. Seeing the sister who was once known for being cold and detached radiate happiness is pretty wonderful, especially for those who have been rooting for Kourtney's happy ending for some time now.

We got to see some behind-the-scenes looks at Travis Barker planning Kourtney's proposal, and the details were too sweet. Fans were especially choked up when Kris Jenner revealed the sweet way Travis incorporated Kourtney's late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., into the proposal.

The reality series' third episode saw Travis calling matriarch Kris Jenner to reveal his desire to marry her daughter. In very traditional fashion, Travis was asking Kris' permission, which is extra sweet considering this is Kourtney's first marriage.

Kris told Kim Kardashian about Travis' call ahead of her Saturday Night Live hosting gig.

"He asked for her hand in marriage, and I was like, literally, I want to cry now," Kris revealed. Then she shared the gesture that truly took this waterworks moment to the next level.

"It was so sweet and so tender," she continued.

"And then he said he went to your dad's grave and asked your dad [for permission], and I just lost it."

"It's all happy, I just wish your dad was here to see it," Kris continued as she wiped away tears.

"I can hardly believe that it's the first time that she's getting married."

Kourtney had a close relationship with dad Robert Kardashian Sr. before he died on September 30, 2003, when Kourtney was just 24. His death came less than eight weeks after he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and it was devastating for the entire family.
